American Democracy needs USA pollsters to ask your important questions focusing on national issues.

How can anti-democratic #Republicans have fifty US Senators who represent a #USA minority be keeping obstruction alive inside Congress? Just give USA taxpayers the whole truth.

Dramedy is a morpheme of both drama and comedy and it is growing in The US Senate with the actions of Congressional Jesters.

YES - #kyrstensinema and @JoeManchinWV have some good ideas on voting rights and one terribly bad one as well.

The Bush Black Sheep?

Allow me to begin by saying that I worked for President HW Bush and it appears to me that he would be shocked by the following.

I am not a #Republican, I have no political affiliation but in terms of the Bush #GOP dynasty and the expanded family tree, George P. Bush is the son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, the nephew of former President George W. Bush, and the grandson of my former boss US president George H.W. Bush, and the great grandson of Senator Prescott Bush.

There is a new Sheriff in town and his name is POTUS. This one is much different than the last one who bowed to Putin. President Joe Biden has announced from The Whitehouse that he has leveled an array of sanctions against the Russian government for placing bounties on USA troops, its attempted interference in the 2020 American presidential election, occupation of the Crimea, and other malign activities by the Communists.

Living For Democracy?

Last night, I was channel surfing and stopped to watch #MSNBC’s @Lawrence on cable TV. O’Donnell, whom I had met years earlier when Lawrence was a guest on The McLaughlin Group program I was co-producing. On last night's show  Lawrence was interviewing Aaron Sorkin and Sasha Baron Cohen about their award-winning film.

The US Senate begins former president Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial today in an unprecedented Congressional action.

Trump failed more than 60 court challenges in his false narrative that our election was stolen, so why does he keep lying about it?
If Senate Republicans wanted to they could unite this great nation by convicting Donald Trump showing he is a no good liar

Communism vs Fascism

Please, allow me to tell you a real story I personally lived through. Once upon a time, there were two republics. Both had constitutions, laws, civil rights, a government, a congress, and a court system of law. The people could assemble, associate, speak, and write with freedom.

But as the people became unsatisfied with their governments, they chose to support new officials and were fooled by fake images of religion and a better life before reality began to set in.

Florida Cracker Wisdom

Submitted by ub on Thu, 10/15/2020 - 18:21

Florida Crackers are American pioneers, their family members, and all their descendants who live in what is now the Sunshine State.

The first wave of these settlers arrived in 1763 after Spain traded Florida to Great Britain following the latter's victory over France in the Seven Years' War.

The main reason why Florida is so important in the election is because of its swing-state status. In the election, Florida is worth a total of 29 electoral votes, more than any other traditional swing state.

Allow us to SPELL IT OUT LOUD and CLEAR by just Telling it to you straight: FEDERAL Legislation to restore the #VotingRightsAct has been sitting in the US Senate on McConnell’s desk for months.

#MoscowMitch and the Republicans will directly benefit from allocating less polling places for American citizens who wish to exercise a legal right to cast their ballots and #VOTE  Welcome to elections amid #COVID19, where Americans don't know the results the morning after. So, get used to mail-in ballot-counting delays. They provide a crucial paper trail.
