As a longtime subway, train, bus and airplane commuter, I have had some amazing experiences and met marvelous people.

Have you ever had a great conversation with a stranger on your commute or is your journey to work precious alone time by yourself?

We are launching Commuter Chronicles as an experiment aimed at sparking commuter conversations and a Vox Pop of sorts.

There will be activities such as chatty carriages, special announcements and conversation starter on trains, buses and trams across the world.

While most Americans watched the disastrous devastation in Puerto Rico on their television, or computer screens, US citizens in that enchanted Caribbean island experienced it up close and personal.

44-year-old Josue Rivera is an American citizen, a military veteran, a New York City resident. He recently endured many sleepless nights following hurricane Maria.

Too many people wrongly assume that creativity and being inventive fades with age, but the opposite is true.

I have often watched or encountered age discrimination especially in the media and technical fields. Unfortunately, the frat-boy culture of Silicon Valley has only gotten younger and cockier.

Music blasting and dogs barking at all hours of the morning and night. People fighting in the building and others, who do not even live there with access to keys to our building. Lights burned out for long periods in areas that are usually lighted and other areas where the lights are on during the day. Welcome to NYC. Fences broken, which allow trespassers to enter our property and the association defers to the manager, who are supposed to answer to their demands.

Despite the Greek economic storm, the sun is still shining on the tavernas, beaches, ancient sites and the vineyards are still open for business.

The country of Greece needs the whole world's help. Tourists should go and get a fistful of euros and visit with their friends and have a good time with the help of some of the the best deals, hotels, food and wine one could ever find.

Valentines Day Celebration

V Day is days away. Are you wondering about ways to treat that special person in your life? Are you considering fancy chocolates and fine wine, or perhaps a sensual massage?

Our recommendation is simple and direct. Gratitude Kudos... This year on February 14th, while many couples are spending the big bucks at restaurants, drinking overpriced wines, try cuddling on your couch and saying nice things to each other. Because it turns out that despite all the efforts to impress on V-Day, simply appreciating each other does more for your relationship than almost anything else.

Reasons for Giving Thanks!

Our family members and most of all our parents and grandparents for giving us life, for taking the time to teach us to love and for being our closest kin in the whole world...

Our friends for being the greatest companions in life and our Lord for it all...

Our health, our sight for letting us see the colors. Hearing for listening to the voices and sounds of music. Touch for letting us feel the breeze of the wind and our loved ones.
