Remember that civil rights are human rights and vice versa. We must all practice tolerance towards everyone in the world.

Today, there are thousands of LGBTQ groups on college campuses on earth that celebrate #Pride.

Back in 1966, there was only one — founded by a single Columbia University student. CJS alum Bill Retherford, M.S. ‘14, weaves the story of this historical feat in Columbia Magazine.

Our family salutes LGBT pride as the promotion of the self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender folks as a social group.

People everywhere want to be free to live their lives in peace and without being harassed.

According to UNSG - Racism, intolerance & discrimination tear at the fabric of our societies, harming all of us.

But there is something every one of us can do to help #FightRacism:

Speak up.
