Ron Terner is a true gentleman and an amazing artist. The expert photographer doesn't measure success in terms of gallery or slickness. Doing what he wants in the way he wants to do it means more for him than upscale appearances.
The gallery which is never is closed, does not gleam with the latest fads. But he is devoted to his seaside nautical community. Ron has been in business for more than 40 years and enjoy a strong following of artists old and young.
City Island has and continues to change and evolve. There are more people living on the one mile island, especially more upper-middle-class people. The marinas have replaced the boatyards, which were a mainstay of the island's economy. Rents have gone up and condominiums are more numerous. Tourists flock to City Island for its restaurants and to enjoy Orchard Beach.
Terner's next opening features the works of some of the younger up and coming artists from The Bronx.
