The past few days have been difficult for me to adjust to. It's was not only wet, cold and keeps on getting dark earlier every day, but leaving loved ones is always sad to say the least. Add to that, the political camp pain, which is a nightmare and what about those horrific acts overseas.
Therefore, I've decided to counter the bad by making a list of the good. May it lift all our spirits and give us all reasons to be thankful.
Thank you mother nature for creating us, other precious animals, plants for our pleasure.
Clean sheets. Preferably right out of the dryer. Nothing better on a chilly night than sliding into freshly-laundered, still-warm linens and drifting off to sleep. Especially after a shower.
Vegetables. Correctly prepared of course. When I was a kid I didn't know the joys of beets, or zucchini, but adult me can appreciate them. Bring on those Thanksgiving side dishes!
Cake. No wonder it's the main birthday food. And the internet has taught me that you can put vegetables into the cake too, just like carrot cake. Kills two birds with one stone.
Candles. More than just for birthdays! The subtle flickering lights, the spicy scents, and the wafting smoke just scream cozy evening in. I'm over my fear of matches.
Internet TV. Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, Youtube. I can binge watch new shows and old favorite I've seen many times, or an ancient program that I could never find before. And I can see them all surrounded by clean sheets and scented candles.
What are some things you would add to my list? If you're clean, cool and have some ideas, list them below, or shoot cimages.me an email and spread the joy :) firstname.lastname@example.org
