Immigration is changing the face of The United States of America with each individual entering this country from different parts of the world helping to make this evolution possible.

As our national diversity continues to increase, the population grows in the number of Asians, but mainly Hispanics. Here in New York and in many other areas with similar situations, whites and blacks are beginning to take notice of America's changing face.

City Island Images has learned that US Census is preparing new population figures, which will include the number of counted Whites, Blacks, Latinos, Asians and others living in this diverse nation. On June 26 they expect to show a significant increase in Hispanics.

Currently, the total US population is estimated at 313, 914, 040. With 50.8 percent female and 49.2 male. There are 231, 992, 377 Whites, 52,961,017 Latinos, 39, 623, 138 Blacks, while Asians trail at 15, 555,530.
