Bronx Day @ NYBG

NYC celebrated 125 years of The New York Botanical Garden with Bronx Day. Local performers ¡Retumba! got New Yorkers moving performing their fabulous "comparsas" and other Latin music favorites.

The Bronx rolled out its welcome mat for neighbors and residents and offered food for sale or the option of to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy an afternoon of music and family fun. Admission to all Botanical Garden venues was free to all Bronx Day ticket holders from 11A-to–3P.

Other activities included Bronx Children’s Museum, Face painting, Bollywood Dance and Workshop, Sparkle Tattoos, Photo Booths, Arts, and Crafts, along with health, finance, and education resources.
