At the exclusive invitation of the Renwen Society at China Institute, Dr. Wang Wei, Director of the Institute of Archaeology at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing, will travel to New York next week to give two lectures on the afternoon of Oct. 16: one on the origins of Chinese civilization as viewed from new archaeological findings and the other on the discovery, investigation, and critical issues of the recently excavated Tomb of Cao Cao (曹操). Dr. Wang is internationally recognized as an authority on Chinese archaeology and a prolific author of many scholarly publications and articles。
